The function of the fuel pump is to supply sufficient quantity and certain pressure of diesel oil to the high pressure fuel injection pump. The fuel injection
volume should be 3 to 4 times of the required fuel injection volume at full load. There are gear type oil pump, diaphragm type oil pump, pipe type oil pump,
plunger type oil pump and other types, the car is driven by the eccentric wheel on the camshaft of the fuel injection pump.
